Our sauces

For my family, tomatoes (Pomodori) are not just a staple, they’re a tradition. I was raised amongst tomato vines. The flavor and freshness of garden grown tomatoes always bring back fond memories. The late summer harvest was an event. We’d fill hundreds of jars with fresh stewed tomatoes and herbs. To me, there simply is no other way to make sauce. That is why Germanos sauce is prepared using only natural, old-world methods, the finest California tomatoes, just enough salt to taste, and absolutely no preservatives or sugar. I invite you to enjoy my sauces with your family. Con buona salute, buon appetito, Domenico Germano

Traditionally made from fresh garden ripe tomatoes, fresh garlic, olives, capers, red pepper flakes, and extra virgin olive oil, it will-surley add a zest to any pasta. Simply heat and add to cooked pasta. Toss over low heat for a few minutes and serve. And don’t forget the wine. A La Salute!
